About the artist
Lin Oldfield moved with her family to Canada from the UK in 1992 and began working with children and adults with challenges. Every day she watched how people with challenges persevered with the daily rigors of life. During her long rehabilitation after a serious leg break, she channeled those examples of perseverance to work on the development of her artistic skills. Finding that she had the time to focus on something she had wanted to do for a long time her interest quickly became her passion and hardly a day goes by when she does not pick up a paintbrush.
She paints mainly in acrylics she also loves to add texture to her art.
